What will you do?
As a Transport Planner, you are part of the European Primary Transport team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing transport flows, as well as creating forecasts and plans for future transport needs. With your expertise, you’ll ensure efficient scheduling, reliable deliveries, and improvements within your cluster.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating accurate transport forecasts and daily planning for all routes in your cluster;
- Selecting carriers for each route, assembling and scheduling loads, and coordinating with the warehouse team for efficient loading;
- Working closely with the customer service, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure a smooth transport process;
- Analyzing and improving transport performance based on reports, with a focus on long-term improvements.
What we like to see in you
- A completed Mbo or Hbo degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, (Technical) Business Administration, or another related economic field;
- At least one year of experience in a similar role (a strong plus);
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Knowledge of ERP and TMS systems is a plus;
- Availability of 36 hours per week.
