In this role, you will spearhead the alignment of sales and operations across our EU Global Supply Points, focusing on streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer service. What will you do?

As the S&OP Lead, you play a pivotal role in the monthly S&OP process. Your main objective is to develop scenarios that optimize supply chain costs while ensuring high levels of customer service.

Central to your responsibilities is managing the monthly S&OP cycle, including preparing and facilitating supply reviews and executive meetings. You maintain frequent communication with key stakeholders such as Supply Planning, Customer Service, Demand planners, and other Supply Network Planners to monitor progress against the plan.

You are also accountable for maintaining master data, systems, and software related to Supply Network planning. Analysing trends and data allows you to continuously enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.

In addition to day-to-day operations, you actively propose and implement improvements to the planning process, aiming to enhance End-2-End Supply Chain reliability. You lead or participate in cross-functional projects that drive improvements in planning processes, collaborating closely with customer planning teams to foster integrated and collaborative planning efforts.

Your role as the S&OP Lead at Nutreco not only requires tactical planning and execution but also demands proactive engagement in projects that advance our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable supply chain practices.

In addition to these qualities, the ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a preference for a master’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience within a large-scale supply chain organization.
  • Fluent proficiency in English, with proficiency in Dutch considered advantageous.

Please note, candidates for this role must already reside in the Netherlands, as Nutreco is unable to provide relocation assistance.
